Shane is a duly licensed lawyer and a proud member of the Law Society of Alberta. He regularly appears in the Provincial Court, and the Court of Queen’s Bench in Family Law Regular and Special Chambers.
Having started his legal career at a well-regarded law firm in Hamilton, ON, Shane focused on family law and regularly appeared in the Superior Court, Provincial Court and Small Claims Court jurisdictions throughout Southern Ontario.
Outside the courtroom, Shane encourages collaborative solutions including third party mediation and counsel-assisted settlement meetings. As a professional advocate, he thrives on working with clients to provide direction on family law matters, whether a negotiated settlement model or litigation model is being used.
Shane graduated from the University of Birmingham Law School, one of the leading Russell Group research universities in the United Kingdom. Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Arts with Great Distinction at the University of Lethbridge.
Shane was born in Calgary and raised in Airdrie. He is happy to be reconnected with his hometown where he grew up playing hockey and went to school. He is active in the community as a Director with the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce and as a Volunteer Lawyer with Calgary Legal Guidance. His other interests include running, traveling, photography, and playing tennis and soccer. He is an avid fan of the Calgary Flames, Chelsea FC and Forge FC.

Roksana completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University in 2011, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. She then went on to obtain her Law Degree at the University of Birmingham, one of the U.K’s leading research universities.
After graduating from law school, Roksana began her legal career at one of the premier litigation associations in Southern Ontario, where she represented clients in various matters related to Insurance Defence Litigation and Personal Injury. These practice areas provided her with extensive courtroom experience as she appeared before the Ontario Provincial Court and the Ontario Superior Court as an advocate for her clients, both assisting senior lawyers of the bar with complex trials and running trials for her own clients.
Several years into her career, Roksana expanded her practice areas and put on her “Solicitor” hat. She began assisting clients with Estate Planning and Administration, Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial matters and continues to do so today. Her skills as a litigator provide her with a distinct ability to ensure her solicitor clients are receiving the advice and service that will best protect their interests.
As a duly licensed lawyer, she is a proud member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Ontario. She represents clients in both provinces and is an active member in both communities. Roksana is fluent in Polish, oral and written, and has assisted her clients with the preparation of various legal documents required by the Polish government. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and watching sports. She is an avid fan of the Calgary Flames, Liverpool FC and Forge FC.
